Nostradamus’s 2025 Predictions Revealed – And There’s All Kinds Of Doom And Disaster To Prepare For

As the year draws to a close, it’s time to talk about the end of the world, my babies – and no one grabs us with gloom quite like Nostradamus.

Nostradamus, not if you’re evil, was a 16th-century astrologer, plague doctor, accused heretic and bearded seer who has been credited with predicting the Great Fire of London, Hitler’s rise to power, the 9/11 attacks , the COVID-19 pandemic, and last year’s New Year’s earthquake, to name a few.

Referred to as the “prophet of doom”, Nostradamus’ gloomy worldview is believed to have been shaped by heavy doses of the Old Testament and the trauma of losing his wife and young children to disease, apparently the plague. Unable to cure those he loved most, it seems he tried to warn the rest of us through his discoveries of destruction.

Sometimes with money, but more often, our man’s prophecies tend toward fire and disaster.

With the publication of his famous book “Les Prophecies” in 1555, Nostradamus gave the world and its future generations a quasi-poetic foretelling of wars, plagues, natural disasters, civil unrest, political assassinations and other such minor .

With heavy language like “rain of blood”, the book is an enduring classic and with 2025 on the horizon, we’re seeing what fury and hellfire awaits us.

But first, a look back.

When did the predictions of Nostradamus come true?

The Frenchman was credited with predicting the powerful earthquake that rocked Japan last New Year.

Describing his predictions for the year 2024, the oracle wrote: “The dry land will become drier and there will be great floods.”

The psychic’s followers thought he could be referring to the 7.5-magnitude earthquake that struck the country’s west coast, killing 48 people, toppling buildings and triggering a 3-meter-high tsunami.

Nostradamus’ predictions for 2024 also included the abdication of King Charles, war with China, a new pope – and the world moving ever closer to a climate apocalypse.

How did he do?

Both the Pope and King Chuck are still sitting pretty on their royal and papal thrones, although the latter recently stopped paying an allowance to his brother Andrew.

In June, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin told security officials that war with China was “neither imminent nor imminent,” so we’ll call it a draw. The same goes for climate change which is killing us slowly but not without energy.

While Nostradamus did not predict Donald Trump’s 2024 presidential victory, American political historian Allen Lichtman, known as the “Nostradamus” of the election, wrongly assured us that Harris would be the winner.

Nostradamus’ predictions for 2025

With a toothpick in hand and a weary eye on the year ahead, read on for our roundup of Nostradamus’ predictions for 2025.

A possible end to the conflict in Ukraine

Nos predicted that financial ruin and depleted resources could spell the end of an ongoing armed conflict, which many assume is a reference to the current war between Russia and Ukraine. He wrote:

From the long war the whole army is exhausted, so that they do not find money for the soldiers; instead of gold or silver, they will come in skins of coins, Gallic brass and crescent Moon sign.

The mention of Gallic bronzes and the crescent Moon sign suggests French and/or Turkish intervention. Both nations have supported Ukraine and could potentially play a role in brokering peace or orchestrating victory.

Plague and more war

Since stepping down from royal duties, Harry, 40, has sat down for a series of interviews, revealing just how volatile his family relationship is. AP

Far from the promise of peace, Nos writes that England will be engulfed in “cruel wars” and face an “ancient pestilence” that will be “worse than enemies”.

Perhaps his knowledge refers to the internal strife of the members of the royal family. As many can attest, family dynamics are truly a plague fouler than any enemy.

Or maybe our man was taking a psychic look at this mysterious disease that causes death.

Explosions in the sky

Nostradamus also predicted that in the dark days ahead, the trajectory of a giant asteroid with the emo handle “Harbinger of Fate” will come dangerously close to colliding with Earth.

“From the cosmos, a ball of fire will rise, A harbinger of fate, the world prays. Science and Fate in a Cosmic Dance, The Fate of the Earth, A Second Chance.”

Given our deplorable and ongoing looting and plundering of our natural resources, it may be that Earth’s “second chance” comes as a result of human extinction.

Natural disasters in Brazil

In terrific prose, Nos delivers:

The garden of the world near the new city, On the way to the empty mountains: It will be caught and dunked in the tub, Forced to drink waters poisoned by sulphur.

Some believe that the ‘garden of the world’ is the Amazon rainforest. Bad things about soaking in a tub with a big T and drinking sulfur suggest floods and volcanic activity.

Rise of the ‘Water Empire’

Perhaps those apocalyptic tides will create the Water Empire that Nos also predicted would come to water power in 2025:

“Out of the deep, a ruler will rise, in the midst of the floods that reach to the sky. Empires will fall and new waves will reign, the Water Empire, from the realm of the ocean.”

Mile high flood? Fallen emperor? Surf, people.
